What Should I Do With the Empty Murphy Bed Space?

What Should I Do With the Empty Murphy Bed Space?

Q: I am looking for some design help in my living room. My beautiful Los Angeles 1920's Spanish revival apartment once had a murphy bed in the living room. When I moved into the apartment, the original wooden door covering the bed had been removed, leaving a large, framed space that now holds my T.V. Any ideas or inspirations of how to transform this space to make it more than just a television cubby?
