What Works For You: Stationary or Flexible Room Dividers?

It's amazing how evolved the designs of room dividers has become in the last few years. Aside from the color, texture, material and genre, you can even choose between a flexible style versus a more stationary style. This is sometimes described as a soft or hard wall.

We recently spotted both a "soft wall" and "hard wall" at B&B Italia and were inspired to find some flexible/soft and stationary/hard versions of these walls or room dividers. Anyone who has an open floorplan and wants to create defined space in their space can use one of these great pieces. Check them out below (Picture links go L-R clockwise)
