After taking a look at messenger bags and backpacks, we're starting to think about our eventual switch over to a mobility computing setup (so we can work at cafe's and look good while doing it). Er.. or like business trips. Yeah.
So why go mobile? Well, back in the old days, when the only computer you could work on was a desktop PC, you were always confined to a small desk, in a chair that probably wasn't the most comfortable thing in the whole wide world.
These days, we have an expanding plethora of options when it comes to mobile computing, there's little reason to stay glued to one spot all day (unless you're forced to, of course). From the iPhones' billion applications in the iTunes store to the increasing number of hotspots anywhere we go, what was once a limited means to connect to the outside world is now readily available around every corner. Because of this, going mobile is easier than ever - what remains is picking and choosing the mobility setup that works best for you.
Here's what we got so far for our own mobility setup. Let us know what you think!
- Macbook 2.4Ghz or HP 2140?
- iPhone 3G
- Yuin Pk2 Earbuds
- Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse
- Seagate FreeAgent Go 500 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive
- Panasonic DMC-LX3K 10.1MP Digital Camera
- Still a little iffy on the messenger bag route. We'll be doing a roundup in the near future, so keep posted!
Now that you've heard our mobility setup, let us know what's in yours!
