Fall for many families is a great time to have a few traditions. Some take hay rides, others go pumpkin picking. Some can the last of the seasonal fruits and vegetables while many start working on holiday gifts. In our own home we baked, barbecued and learned basting stitches. What's your favorite family fall tradition?
Traditions don't have to be something that fits the season, but many homes do the same types of things at the same time of year. That way, even if you aren't big on pumpkin patches and corn mazes, you might be into sitting on the back porch watching for bats and sipping hot chocolate.
