For Luca Soldaini, a student from Florence, Italy, it's having the most comfortable layout possible using products that don't beg for any attention. Whether it's the Lacie speakers that appear to feed sound from the desk itself or the functional angle of his MacBook stand that maximizes workspace, it's pure minimalism at its finest and we love it!
Similarly, Stephen Meszaros from Brooklyn believes the perfect desk is about having the bare minimum, with a focus on high value (a.k.a. best bang for his buck). So while his IKEA legs may appear slightly cheap compared to the rest of his gadgets, the bulk of his cash gets invested in a sweet Canon large format printer, iMac, and wireless Wacom tablet. It's a sacrifice that's definitely worthwhile, especially if you're a struggling student trying to get by, but still want some extra-nice toys to get your creative on.
What about you guys? What factors make the "perfect" desk? Let us know in the comments!
