This Saturday and Sunday are the last weekend shopping days before Christmas, so you can bet that the stores will be busy. In case you've still got some people to check off your gift list, we've got a few general ideas for places to shop, no matter where you live.

Grocery Stores: Pick up a bottle of wine, box of candles, or bag of coffee beans on your weekend shopping trip. If you want to go all-out, put together a basket of foods and treats that won't go bad. For our guide to grocery stores across the country, click here.

Garden Suppliers: Plants are always a lovely gift. They clean the air, add some color, and bring life into a home. For our national garden store guide, click here.

Tabletop Shops: For people who like to cook or entertain, you can almost always find something at a tabletop shop, whether it's a new set of bar glasses or a stack of beautiful dish towels. For the Apartment Therapy guide to tabletop shops, click here.

Bedding Shops: New sheets, pillows, and throws are always useful. This time of year, almost everyone can use an extra blanket. For our bedding store guide, click here.

Antique Stores: If you're looking for something really unique, go shopping at your favorite antique or thrift store. For our guide to vintage shops across the country, click here.
