Amazon Cardholders Get a Big Deal at Whole Foods on Prime Day This Year
Amazon announced today that its annual shopping holiday, Prime Day, will be July 16 and July 17 this year. And since Whole Foods is now under the Amazon umbrella, the organic grocery store will be a part of the celebrating for 2018.
Among all the other discounts and deals planned for the 36-hour span that we reported earlier, if you want to save money on something you need anyway—groceries—there’s good news for you. If you have Amazon’s Visa rewards card, you can get 10 percent back from July 14 through July 17. The normal cash back rate is 5 percent, but you’ll get double during—and the days leading up to—Prime Day. The offer is valid at Whole Foods and 365 stores on purchases up to $400.
If you’d rather just have your La Croix and cotton candy grapes delivered to your door, there’s a separate Prime Day perk happening. Through Prime Day, new AmazonFresh customers get $30 off their first order. (Order must be a minimum of $100, making this a good excuse to stock up on items you hate hauling back from the store. Terms and conditions here.)
