Whole Foods Is Hiring 6,000 People This Week

Whole Foods is looking for a few (okay, a bit more than that) new team members. The organic grocer is holding a national hiring day on Thursday, November 2. Here are all the details.

Taking a page out of their parent company's playbook (Amazon is known to host these sorts of events), Whole Foods is recruiting at each of its US locations with the goal of finding 6,00o "passionate, food-focused candidates to join its team."

The positions are for full time and part time jobs, both seasonal and permanent positions, and include cashiers, culinary experts and prepared foods specialists. Interested applicants can head to any Whole Foods on Thursday to fill out an application and get interviewed, with the possibility of being hired on the spot.

The company offers health and dental benefits for both full time and part time employeees, as well as an all important 20 percent discount.
