Ah winter, that season where if you live where it gets cold, you pile on lots of wool goods in an effort to keep warm. One nasty side effect of piling on the wool goods is they tend to wreak havoc with the mics on headsets. What is one to do to help combat this? Why use a bobby pin of course!
To help reduce the mic muffling caused by scarves and cowls we use a bobby pin. The bobby pin is a great solution because it is inexpensive, lightweight, and does not make a hole in any of the wool items.
As part of our bundling up routine, we secure where we want our mic to be on the scarf before heading out using a bobby pin. This quick and easy bobby pin fastening routine has saved us from quite a bit of interference!
Another handy way to use a bobby pin with your tech is wire management. Use the pin to keep your earbuds under control and you'll never have the tangled cable mess in your pocket again.
What are some unconventional ways you have found to use inexpensive items with your tech?
