Kindles. eInk. iPads and tablets. We've all heard it before. But does anyone seriously think these 2-3 year old technologies will completely replace paper anytime soon? No, not really. And if you don't believe us, we've got a video waiting for you after the jump just to prove our point.
While Kindle's made it a mission to point out that the iPad is not only impossible to use under bright light conditions, but with the increasingly growing amount of time we spend glued to our screens day after day, a little bit of analog reading doesn't seem like such a bad idea.
More importantly are the tangible uses of newspaper. You know, like playing fetch with the dog. Paper mache. Worm composting. Or maybe the use of it in this recently pulled commercial of Newsday's commercial for their new Apple iPad app:
