Hosting a gaming party this weekend and looking for treats to serve? Why not try your hand at geeky chocolates? By following this clever Instructable, its easy to make your own molds from your favorite gaming accessories which are just perfect for that Wii party.
We could barely contain our geeky baking glee while we were reading this guide from Instructables member Plasticshakeupsnow which shows us how to make a silicone mold perfect for making yummy replicas of our beloved tech.
Her instructions are clear and easy to understand and to make your own yummy replicas you will need: Amazing mold putty, chocolate (or almond bark/candy melt etc.) enough to fill your mold or cake (depending on the size of your mold a cupcake or two would be plenty), a small amount of frosting, and the device you want to make the mold of.
While a Wiimote was used in the example, it is easy to see the potential for this guide with other small devices. Just think, 360 controller and camera cakes as well as LEGO minifig chocolates, what is there not to love?
