If you are like us, you must hate getting up mornings, especially Monday mornings. However, it's not like you have a choice really. You have to get up. There is no way around this fact. The only thing that's left to do is to find a way to way up better. A gentler way to wake up. This wind chime alarm clock promises to do as much. Imagine, getting woken up by gentle wind chimes, is there a better way to wake up?

Honestly, I could think of a few. I'm sure that there could be an alarm clock which uses smells to wake you up. That might be a really easy way to do this. There is also the Philips Wake-Up Light, which uses light to get you up. If a hard ringing alarm clock is turning your morning routine into a nightmare, you might really enjoy this clock. It has an easy to read LCD clock face, repeat snooze button, and the option to play chimes continuously until you get up. It's powered by three AAA batteries. It's currently available for $20. Check out the video to see it in action. Naturally, this clock comes with a traditional ringing alarm for heavy sleepers.

Personally, in the mornings, when I'm well rested, the vibration alarm on my cell phone is enough to wake me up. That's pretty indicative of most of us. We tend to think that we won't hear alarms, but in the end, we always do. It's rare for us, not impossible, to actually completely miss an alarm. Some people can also wake up mentally at a certain hour. That also works well, but sometimes it's easy to miss a wake up call. [via PicoCool]
