Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: I have lived in our Manhattan 780-square-foot apartment with my husband and our dog Ollie for about five years now. I love the bright light that comes through our bedroom and living room, which gives me great opportunity to fill my home with plants (and I’ve got a lot of them).

We kept most of our decor pretty minimal so that the plants can do the decorating for us.

Ever since we incorporated plants into our home the whole space feels transformed and much more homey and lived in. Our space is constantly changing slowly but surely. I am always thinking of ways to change things up to keep it interesting.

I love the window pane pattern of our bed sheets. I am currently in the process of adding more wicker baskets/trays to our wall above our bed.

What is your favorite room and why? My bedroom would have to be my favorite room of the apartment because it’s got great natural light and it is very spacious for a Manhattan apartment. It has now also become a tiny little jungle with all my plants.

We are lucky enough to have this little corner with an L shaped window area which gives us a lot of bright natural sunlight.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? We recently installed some wall shelves so we can incorporate what else? More plants. We have a lot of wall space so it’s nice to be able to utilize it and fill it up with some more greenery even in our windowless bathroom!

Our bathroom unfortunately does not have any windows so I am unable to have any plants in here so I compromised and now we have a shower curtain that doubles as a plant shelf. (Stacy got this shower curtain from Amazon, but it's no longer available. This other curtain from Amazon is similar, as is this Society6 curtain.)

Any advice for creating a home you love? It’s okay to make a decision on how you thought you might want your space to look like and then change your mind later on. The fun part about decorating is that you are allowed to change your mind and change things up as often as you want!
