For many people, the name Winnebago is already synonymous with road-trip camping, but the 60-year-old company is still improving its game. In 2020, Winnebago will release the Solis, its first pop-top camper van, and one of the first camper vans on the market that provides comfortable sleeping space for four people, according to Curbed

In the Solis, two people can sleep in the pop-top area, and two more can sleep in the back of the van. For the latter, buyers have a choice between a queen-size pull-down Murphy bed or a convertible sleeper couch that includes two seatbelts, meaning two passengers can safely sleep there while the camper is in motion.

Other amenities include swivels on the front seats so they can turn to face a pull-out table, making a dining area between the two rows of seats (when the van is parked, of course). The small bathroom contains all the necessities — toilet, shower, and mirror — and the kitchen area comes equipped with a two-burner stove, a stainless steel sink, and a fridge that can also be accessed from the outside of the van, for convenient outdoor lounging.

The pop-top is accessible by ladder and has blackout screens so you don’t have to feel like you’re sleeping in a fishbowl. The Solis also includes a pole in the back that can be used as a drying rack or to hang a screen from, in order to make a private changing room. Clearly, privacy is key while traveling in a small mobile room with four people.
