November? Not sure how that happened, but for those of us planning handmade holiday gifts it's already time to get cracking. We love this memory game for many reasons: the wooden pieces with their cute graphics are way nicer than the garden-variety memory game cardboard squares, and any toy that comes with its own storage pouch is aces in our book. Did we mention that the images were transferred onto the wood using a laser printer and an eco-friendly cleaning product?
Ashley of Lil Blue Boo created the game using wooden craft discs and Citra Solv. The muslin bag got custom treatment with iron-on transfer paper. Check out her tutorial complete with free PDF template, and learn more about how Ashley uses Citra Solv to transfer text and images onto wood here.
