Although there's many things that are small and skimpy at the lake or beach this summer, your towel shouldn't be one of them. Even if you're sporting an itty bitty teeny weenie yellow polka dot bikini, it doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to kick back and relax in super-sized artistic fashion does it?

The Art Production Fund worked with a prominent group of contemporary artists in order to bring artwork off the walls in the museums and into your home. They're calling it "Works on Whatever" and in this case, it has our vote for beach towels! Sure they could have done so in a more typical art print, but we love the idea of having an over-sized place to nap, read or just get some sun.

Each towel retails for $95 over at Opening Ceremony and is sized at 70"x60" and are 100% cotton. Here's a few of our favorites:
