Rattan can seem kind of predictable when summer rolls around, but predictable is not what came to mind when we spotted this colorful, leaf-shaped version from Wisteria. Want it on the other hand, did.
The first two lines of copy in Wisteria's description refer to the beverages one might consume whilst sitting in the chair, one being a "Pimm's cup" — this, we discovered, is a spicy-citrusy gin-based beverage common in Britain. We feel glamourous just imagining this scene.
The remaining four lines of copy — twice as much — drop a bomb in the form of a $125 special shipping charge, and instructions for how to handle any damages or defects the chair might suffer in shipping. We're left with the impression that the chair is a little fragile, as are our imaginings for incorporating this piece into our decor, practically.
But still, the little hits of blue and orange woven into the design, paired with the leaf shape and curlicue detail, have us charmed.
