The sink toilet combo is nothing entirely new (we featured the Sink Positive version last month), but we don't think we've seen one look this good yet. Using waste water from the sink to fill the toilet tank for future flushing, the space saving and sleek W+W (Washbasin + Watercloset) can reduce water usage by up to 25%.
Rather than providing a sink just for hand washing, this sink can be used for all bathroom activities since water can either be diverted to the toilet or to the mains (if the basin is being used for shaving or brushing teeth). Water diverted to the toilet tank automatically passes through a double filtration system. In order to eliminate bacteria and odors, this system filters particle debris as well as chemically treating the grey water before storing it to flush.

While this design is currently only available in the UK and will cost a pretty penny, we hope that other designers take note that sustainability and functionality can also be aesthetically pleasing.
