Pieces of the estate of Zsa Zsa Gabor, starlet, socialite, and over the top blonde bombshell, are up for auction. The actress's ninth husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt (more on that here), is selling some of her things out of their Beverly Hills home.
A Louis XV-Style Creme Piente Day Bed with Canopy Featured in the 1967 "Good Company" Interview, current bid $700. Apparently Gabor (inaccurately) claimed this bed was a replica of one of Empress Josephine's. It's shockingly green, chicly impractical and perfect for the type of person who says they're "retiring to their bedroom" instead of "ok well I'm going to sleep, good night!"
Five Piece Louis Vuitton Hard Case Luggage Group, current bid $5,000. Perfect for throwing all of your diamonds and boas into dramatically before telling your 4th, 5th, or 6th husband that you're never coming back.
178 piece Wedgwood Florentine Pattern Porcelain Service, current bid $245. Comprised of 40 dinner plates, 34 cups, 34 saucers and more, this porcelain service is almost all that you need for the sort of decadent dinner party Quincy Jones would overshare about 30 years later.
And last but not least, this ultra chic portrait of Zsa Zsa herself. Put it in a gilded frame on top of your mantel or sneak it into your gallery wall for something that will make your guests say, "is that a portrait of Zsa Zsa Gabor?"
You can see the rest of the items and maybe even try your luck over on Heritage Auctions.
