We have the Thackery Chesterfield from Anthropologie. We got it in the gray this summer, and while I wouldn't say it was worth full price (we paid $1200), we are really happy with it. A couple of the reviews mention that the cushions are hard. This is true when you first sit on it, but they soften up after just a couple of days of use. I'm sure it depends on your preference, but I find it a million times comfier than our old overstuffed couch.
I LOVE the green on the first one, but I am having a heck of a time finding a cool looking, comfortable, affordable couch that pulls out into a sleeper! I'd love a green one, but a funky green not a neutral sage. Urban Outfitters had a great looking one but all the reviews say it's not that comfortable. Help!
I wish the Pottery Barn chesterfield came in white leather. All of the white leather chesterfields I have found are at least $5k.
That green one is absolutely stunning. Decades looks like an interesting vendor, too - all their sofas are made in the US! Anyone have one of these? I haven't been able to find any online reviews.
I HATE TO BE THAT DECORATOR BUUUUUUUUUUUUT
Chesterfield Sofa is like saying: sofa sofa or lamp lamp
funny I hate the green one. I love the white one.
I ordered a Decades couch a few weeks ago and it should be arriving soon. I did a post about the order process and customer service, but will have to follow up with how fabulous or not fabulous the sofa actually is.
Thanks, Jae! Would love to read your thoughts once you receive the sofa. Do you have a link to your post about the ordering process?
i have the barocco by zanotta in wht leather....its sexy its art !!
I own one, the Decades furniture is actually made by a company called CoCoCo. They have a much larger selection at their site, www.cococohome.com, I wish I saw it before I ordered from Decades!
The sofa is wonderful nonetheless, nice full cushioning, amazing leather. I love it.
Beth: Just FYI, we offer a Chesterfield sleeper in our 96" length and can do it in any of our upholstery options, including the green above.

My couch finally arrived. I do love it. I posted about it here.

Here's the post on ordering: http://www.designocd.com/2012/09/leather-swatches/
Btw, I second Keith Z's comments. I agree, wish I'd known about the Comfortable Couch Company beforehand, but the Decades couch is wonderful.
Other sofas chesterfield in leather on britishdeco.com.They have many choices of colors and their prices are affordable.
Where are the 2 paintings from in the photo w/ the purple orchid?
Some good looking sofas there and it's always interesting to see other styles from different countries. If you fancy a look at how we Brits make Chesterfields, head over to our stunning new website where you can see your Chesterfield in over 70+ leathers: www.timelesschesterfields.com
Fancy one in fabric? Our sister site www.lovelysofas.co.uk has them covered. Pardon the pun ;0)
I just got the Gordon sofa in black from Home Decorators Collection and it arrived yesterday. I don't know if I'm just spoiled but I was kinda disappointed in the leather. It has a surface texture that reflects too much light, almost making it look brown, and the leather is not soft at all. It is comfortable to sit on but I kept asking my friends, 'do you think this is vinyl?' The website says 'recycled leather'.... Ill learn to like it but I wish I'd saved up for a soft buttery version from Restoration Hardware. Ps the dimensions online imply the measurements of the couch, but that must've been the box. The couch yurned out to be 87" long instead of the listed 91"...
Have a pair of Asquith battered and distressed Chesterfields from Barker and Stonehouse (UK) -They are a Brit classic - my favourite one now is looking decidedly knackered, which I am thrilled about.Have cosied mine up by chucking on reindeer skins and kilim and velvet cushions.
I know this comment was four months ago, but if you're still looking...
Sleepersinseattle.com has a big selection.
It's good to see that these design classics are still being produced all over the world. Some staying true to the classic designs, and lots of fantastic modern twists out there too! We stick the the traditional classic chesterfield at Iconic Interiors, but it’s great to see how this British classic has evolved.
