In cities that have an IKEA, their furniture is found in many homes. While there's nothing wrong with this affordable option, that doesn't mean your pieces have to look like those everywhere else in your city. Check out what these BESTA cabinets after Kris was through with them!
Kristina Klarin isn't one for plain and boring. She is all about making a splash with color and these cabinets were slightly lack luster before she got a hold of them.
With the help from a little wallpaper, these cabinets now look like a large reclaimed wooden sideboard (a la Piet Hein Eek) and make quite a statement in the room. Don't forget to think about wallpaper on items other than walls, especially since high priced designer rolls can be affordable when you don't need to buy twelve of them, you just need one to complete a project! Absolutely fantastic! What a big improvement to those ugly BESTA cabinets. One thing that would probably bother me are the legs on the cabinets, but maybe that will be a fix for another time?

Single rolls of wallpaper can be found at thrift stores, paint stores, and hardware stores. The paint and hardware stores are usually overstocks or returns, but sometimes they have some fun stuff.
Wowzers! I like! I immediately followed the links to find a buying source. Both Studio Ditte and Piet Hein Eek shop offer this wallpaper, but ooh is it pricey. Made me second guess putting it on IKEA. But maybe ebay has some at half price...
Soooooooooooo tacky. seriously, the pics do a lot, but i suspect in person they are extremely crummy looking. Sorry - can't think of anything positive to say on this one. :(
