Finding a nice six-room dollhouse on Craigslist for thirty dollars is a score, especially when it comes furnished. Looking at the wallpapered rooms and matching cherry furniture, many of us would have called it good and let the kids have at it. But check how another thirty bucks, some scrap materials and an artistic eye can transform each room of this house into a showroom.

We already knew Brenda from HeyDay Living had formidable skills–we featured her entertainment center-turned-play kitchen in January. Here she shines again as her attention to detail gets even more microscopic with this incredible dollhouse makeover. With the bird-themed artwork, spacious laundry room and gorgeous wallpaper we are ready to move in ourselves.

It is hard to pin down a favorite part of this little gem. Is it the view outside the window in the kitchen, or possibly the elegant chandelier in the living room? The builder in me particularly appreciates the fact that she ‘stacked’ the plumbing, putting the bathroom over the laundry room, which is in turn over the kitchen. That’s exactly what you would do it in a real house.
