Location: Central Falls, Rhode Island
Our loft is in a small town in Rhode Island called Central Falls. The town is one mile by one mile — hence the name of our building Mi Squared Lofts. My boyfriend and I have spent the past year remodelling in anticipation for our baby's arrival (she was born March 31)! We built Ada's "cabin" in the middle of our place. We bought reclaimed wood from a garage that had salvaged it from a local mill that was being torn down. We built the facade to feel like a cabin, but the inside had to be a little more girly — equipped with art from local Providence artists/friends, trippy wallpaper and homemade shelves.
Q: I was hoping I could get some help finding a wall organization system (or components to build a DIY system) similiar to the Pottery Barn Daily System (larger photo below). My main needs are bins to hold the kids homework/lunch money/etc, cork or pin board to hold invitations and important notes, and a writing surface. A calendar thrown in would be great but not totally necessary.
