It is in her current incarnation as a designer, blogger and mother that we find her, and she's the ingenious force behind her son Jasper's bright and delightful room. Though the room feels highly designed, Kate explains that it was necessity, rather than a taste for luxury, that brought disparate elements together to work in harmony.

We first glimpsed Freya's room last month, in Rachel & Marc's Bright, Beautiful London Home. This calming space is the result of a group effort; when Rachel was pregnant, a variety of family and friends came to visit the parents-to-be, each leaving their mark on the nursery of the very lucky Freya.

We loved it back when it was just a little nursery for one, then Meg made space for another child, and then another. Sharing a 1,000 square foot two-bedroom home in Wisconsin, this family of five has done more than simply making do with a small space. This is a masterful study in working with what you have, efficiency, resourcefulness and beauty.

Now that Cameron is five years old, he wanted a cool, big boy room. The room is definitely all boy and the graphic wallpaper and bold colors give it a more modern aesthetic. The space is pretty large for child's room, so his parents were faced with the challenge of dividing up the room into different play areas. Designer Shirry Dolgin helped bring the design together to create a special room for Cameron.
