The last we heard, Nintendo has sold over 32 million Wii Fit Balance Boards, which means there's a good chance you've got one stored away in the closet or media cabinet, neglected and forgotten since your last Wii-fueled workout. Even if you have no further plans for working out using the balance-oriented accessory, a new open-source Android application can breathe new life into the Balance Board as a fitness tool connected to your Android powered device...

Smartphone etiquette is increasingly becoming an issue out in public because many people (myself included) have the impulsive habit of checking our phones every 30 minutes, everywhere. I realize it’s important to
establish some basic etiquette rules to acknowledge and practice while out with and around others...

There are some families that ban iPads, phones, email, and all things tech when taking the hallowed family vacation. I'm amazed by that. Maybe we'll try it sometime. But, though I don't want to spend our vacation tied to our devices, there are moments when I find having a little tech helps everyone recharge.

My dining room table is already adorned with a set of Chilewich basketweave placemats; they're durable and super easy to clean, and not to mention aesthetically pleasing, which also happens to make them quite ideal as a material to use as a phone case. The dash of weave of four yarns over four colors aren't just pleasing to the eye, the weave provides a satisfying and secure grip. Just don't eat on top of it!
