Name: Chad Graci
Location: Lower Garden District - New Orleans, Louisiana
At 650 square feet I've managed to create a high style, multipurpose space that meets all of my needs.
My home showcases the aesthetic, style and attention to detail that I bring to all of my design clients. Luckily, one of the only problems that I faced was the size of the space. The architecture was there, I just needed to make it work for me. There are 13 foot ceilings so I wanted to draw the eye upwards. I kept most furniture low and painted the ceilings a color.
Thanks, Chad!

Nomade Express Slee...
Lovely space! Picture one truly shows what can be done with the amount of square footage and every zone has its purpose. Love the artwork, accessories and the paint color chosen. Nice punches of color throughout. Well done!
This makes my knees weak!
Beautifully done. Nice to see a different aesthetic occasionally.
Wow, wow, wow!
Such a beautiful space. I lot everything about it and DEMAND a house tour, also that you come to Brooklyn immediately and do the same thing for my apartment because this is exactly the type of feel I want for my home.
lot = love
I just love the houses in New Orleans, I stayed at a really nice one that I found on airbnb(dot)com and it had a very similar, high ceiling layout. Great city!
You know I want to see more! Pretty please with sugar on top!
LOVE. Looks like a beautiful boutique hotel suite. Great job, Chad!
Incredibly beautiful!
Not my style but man, is it beautifully done. The draping/curtain in the doorway sure gives this space a 'welcome home' feeling.
Love the lite china hutch. Very nice touch.
BRAVO; and yes, HOUS TOUR is in order.
Yowza! That is such an elegant space. It looks huge. You performed magic.
Absolutely perfect! Please show us more!
I love the leopard print rug and throw pillow
Gorgeous!
Wow! I want to see more! I love it! So beautiful and that fact that you are living in one of my favorite cities makes me totally want to move in! :)
This home has all the elements that are New Orleans to me; the drapes and tassel tie back, the brass and pleated shade lamps, the brick, the high ceilings. The room is so well done! The refined luxury and history of the city come through and it makes me want to go back.
So appealing. Truly a lovely space.
Beautiful.
Now this is a home! Nice to see a house that's cozy and welcoming...and not trying too hard to be cool.
Artfully done!! I too would love to see more, more, more.
Perfection. So often you see this style done so poorly but your place looks fit for a queen. I especially love the chandeliers, the brick wall, and the reading corner in the bedroom. Your colours (I'm Canadian we spell color colour here) are beautiful.
GORGEOUS. House Tour, PLEASE.
WOW!
Gorgeous!
I love everything I see in these photos -- the space itself (the walls, ceilings, layout) but also all the elements he put in there - the way the colors work together, and the fact that he has the different zones with enough breathing room between them (I think I tend to overstuff places, whether my last, smaller space or my current bigger space).
What is the DESK made of? It looks really interesting - it actually looks to me like a stone or marble or... ??? Lovely colors.
Well done!
(bookmarking it now!)
Tour, please!
Coziest luxurious perfection ever!
Most urgent House Tour, please!!
Stop teasing and show us more, please.
This is so not my style but I love it and would love to see more.
DIVINE!!! This should have been a house tour!
More pics of the ceilings!!
So luxuriously beautiful. The attention to the lighting is what really makes it stand out from other apartments. It's so hard to achieve for most of us! And makes me want to focus my efforts on lighting during this fall & winter.
Beautiful!
Not my style at all either but undeniably gorgeous. The space itself is so regal and it was beautifully matched with the decorating. Not an easy task! I especially like all the layering, the drapes and fabrics on the rugs and wall art. Very elegantly pulled together.
Luxurious and beautiful, I love the layers and the fact that there are 'zones' instead of just a mishmash of items. Wonderful job! Would love to see a house tour!
Holy moly. I'm having some serious apartment envy over here. Talk about a perfectly designed space. Best part? It still looks as though it's homey enough to elicit that sigh of relief when you walk through the door at the end of the day. That's what's missing for me in umpteen mid century or ultra modern houses we see on here.
In other news, here's a shameless plug for my new blog:
Street Snobbery
Hous tour, please.
Wowwww!! Incredible job!
So Southern glam!
This is incredible! Beautiful and well-done!
The apartment is absolutely gorgeous.
But where is your television?
I know it seems like a pedestrian question, but placement of the tv, stereo, computer, and other inconvenient necessities are some of the design solutions that I look for in house tours/house calls.
Yes please, house tour needed! I want to see much more, in closer shots. Your home is calling me to it!
Where can I get that coffee table?? I've been looking everywhere for a thing coffee table for a small living room and I haven't been able to find a thing.
