Commercial Flour Sa...
woah, their master bedroom popped up on YHL today too! they are a very POPULAR couple for sure! love it and their abode is very nice too!
Kitchen and dining room are nice -
- but that bathroom is not working: those tiles in the shower surround don't work together at all with the floor tiles - the wall color isn't helping any either.
The bedroom also proves that it IS possible to have too much damask.
bepsf - took the words out of my mouth.
Have we seen their kitchen before? It looks familiar.
I have to admit that bedroom made me say "yikes!" it does seem a bit much.
Besides that (and the toilet seat cover) I love everything about this house!
I answered my own question, we have seen it before.
It is welcoming. I really like the bedroom textiles, no need for "art."
I love the bedroom! Bathroom tiles are a bit much.. and like everyone else, beautiful kitchen.
I can't tell: are those pennies on the bathroom floor or just copper-colored floor tiles?
i actually don't mind the bathroom - i might even kinda like it (i imagine it's a little more peaceful looking w/ the shower curtain closed). but the damask in the bedroom is too much for my eyes. think it needs a little less b&w damask and maybe one more color to keep it from looking so stark?
ha! i just saw that courtney & andy are getting some design advice from YHL for the damask filled bedroom :) http://www.younghouselove.com/2010/04/andy-and-courtneys-design-dilemma/
I guess I am in the minority, but I like the tile in the bathroom.
Totally agree with bepsf.
I also like the bathroom shower tile, but agree that it clashes with the floor. And I love the kitchen.
Just say no to "word art," esp. when it's 3-4 times in the same shot of a single room.

I agree - and it's all over the kitchen too (from the pix on thekitchn.com)
One more decorating cliche that needs to die.
Your house is great. Where did you purchase the curtains hanging in the living room? I love them and have been looking for something like this for awhile. Thanks!
It's all a bit twee isn't it? Meh.
@bepsf: oh, no. *envisions "scoop," "bake," "pour..."*
I absolutely LOVE the bathroom... I don't think people take enough risks in places like the bathroom and so I applaud you for doing it with those gorgeous tiles. Hooray!

too cookie cutter to me. i've never been fond of that print taking over the bedroom
I'm neutral about it - takes awhile to find your style and I think they are trying to work a couple of different things - it'll evolve. Kitchen is cute.
Courtney here of Courtney and Andy. Thanks for all the feedback. Someone asked about the curtains and I wanted to provide a source. It's Woolrich for Target. Unfortunately, I don't think they sell them anymore. They're pretty old. They do just have plain red ones here (http://www.target.com/Room-Essentials-Sailcloth-Tie-Up-Shade/dp/B002WEAVJ2/ref=br_1_22?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&searchView=grid5&searchNodeID=14111301&node=14111301&sr=1-22&searchRank=salesrank&searchPage=1&searchSize=30&id=Room%20Essentials%20Sailcloth%20Tie-Up%20Shade&qid=) that are similar. Hope that helps!
Also, someone was curious about the tiles on the floor. They're actually cork (made from recylced wine stoppers) and penny sized. They're different (and certainly not for everyone), but we love them!
Oooo! Gimme, gimme, gimme! I want to live there!!!
I love the bathroom, and with a little help from YHL their bedroom will look nice. And as a fellow RIC resident, I love that we're seeing houses outside of AT's normal territory.
I love the bathroom tiles and the dining room looks great..but the living room and kitchen look way too countryish.
I love the bathroom tiles! And the black and white bedroom is a neat idea -- I thought it was a B&W photo at first.
I agree with bepfs, even though I never thought it to be possible. Great kitchen, though.
The kitchen is cute. Marble and grey with white tile is classic. Apron front sinks problematic. Where did they find tiny subway tile like that for the backsplash? I want some.
I am going home and ecorating my room in all white! I love the kitchen
What paint color did you use on the dining room walls? I love it!!!
