It wasn't long ago now that DWR stepped into the ring with their own mattress lineup, getting ever closer to one-stop shopping at their hip, urban stores. Interestingly, they chose to skip the conventional route and headed straight for memory foam. Very modern.
Based on the Tempur-Pedic model, Sonno Mattresses are topped with a layer of visco-elastic memory foam and are pure polyurethane foam in the middle. Around the outside is a soft layer of CoolMax fabric which "wicks away moisture to keep the body cool."
There are two versions: The Prima is the standard and comes in medium and firm, while the Versa has "two individualized halves" that allows you to have firm on one side and medium on the other side of the bed (if you so desire).
Reviews have been positive so far, and chief selling points are the "better workmanship around the covering material" and the price. DWR's is around $400 less (prices start at $900 for twin). Even better, they are on sale right now.

We have had this mattress for two years and it was the WORST decision we made. Overly expensive to begin with. Sleeps way too hot, sheets won't stay on the corners (deep sheets!) and after two years we have deep divots where each of us sleeps, in excess of 2 inches deep. Because the mattress is one-side, we can't flip it over to relieve this issue. They don't call it memory foam for nothing! Way too hard, very uncomfortable. We will go back to a pillow top as soon as we can afford it.
