Name: Elodie
Location: Paris, France
I'm a fashion blogger, designer and interior architect and I recently did took some pics of my very little home in Paris — it's a 26 square meter (280 square feet!) studio where I had to find creative solutions to using the space. And I did! We have a little bedroom, a huge wardrobe, a desk to work at home, a dining space and a great living room.
I live here with my fiancé and my 2 cats. I'm very inspired by fairy tales and small British sailors' homes in France. I love when an apartment is full of little things. I bought all my furniture at IKEA and then accessorized with vintage objects found on eBay or in my grandparents' attic.
Here is a link to the post I made about it on my blog.
Thanks, Elodie!

Beautiful!!!
Wow, two people, two cats, in 280 square feet?! Simply amazing, beautiful and ... I love your ceiling and kitchen.
I absolutely love this! The use of space is very inspirational. I've always felt that a small space can be enhanced by lots of accessories (even though it seems counterintuitive), and this proves it, in my opinion.
amazing! kitty cat is adorable as well :)
Very fun and bright space. It looks so comfortable and happy too. I love the Space Invaders tribute on the cabinets.
what a sweet little space! so cozy. love it!
amazing!
i'm in love with it...and look at that ceiling!
Great job putting a lot of things in a small space! It looks very functional and that you aren't going without any convenience including a useable kitchen and tons of storage.
Very nice... I really like it. Where did you find the pink Space Invaders for the cabinets?
it has a lot of spirit
cozy and humble
Totally fun!
I love it. I could never do it.. well, I could... but it wouldn't look this good. This is adorable/amazing/wonderful.
What a lovely place. It's very small, but who cares it's in Paris!
So boheme, stylish and full of stuff! Beautiful. The small black cat and the invaders made me melt.
what? i'm getting agita just looking at it. in a space this small, i would have closed storage... or perhaps a storage unit! i find it cute but unlivable.
It's very charming !
Whoa, medusa12120 et al. What's with all the harshing? You do realize that this is someone's beloved HOME, don't you?
@michelleinbrooklyn - I believe the bunny is actually a wi-fi transmitter. I've only seen them in France, but perhaps someone knows of a stateside source...
Say what you want about the clutter, but when you step out the door you are in Paris (the one in France). I mean, I like SF, NY, Chicago, but this is Paris!
where did you get the closet storage unit at??
Elodie in Paris, so colorful and cozy!
i have alot of magazines,
- coastal living
- house beautiful
- country living
etc.
and Books also,
i like the way everything in your place looks organized in such a small place, i also like the chinese lanterns, etc.
like this wonderful web site, from washington state.
C'est romantique, comme un conte de fées...
It's just toooo small! I'm claustrophobic just looking at it. But bless her spirit for making it a home, not only for herself, but a mate and two kitties! Bravo!
The consistent use of white makes it work. It's inspired. Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
space invader in the kitchen. This is truly a parisiene home. fan of the Space invader... the french street artist? I'm a huge fan too!
I just re-arranged all my furniture using this tour as inspiration! My flat is only about 30 sq. meters, and it's just one big box, so the way Elodie separates her bed space from her living space was just the fox I needed. My style is already eclectic/retro, so this was perfect. Thanks for the inspiration!
Can you post the layout and dimensions of your apartment? I also live in a 280 sq ft apartment, and am trying to redo mine. Yours is amazing! But in all the pictures of everyone's apartments, no one seems to have a door, which has actually been my major issue in redecorating/rearranging. Thanks!
