Apartment Therapy Survey:
My Style: Eclectic, Mid-Century
Favorite Element: My grandfather's paintings — growing up, I spent all my weekends in his studio; almost all the art in the apartment is his.
Biggest Challenge: Space — the apartment is so tiny! I have to be extremely selective in everything I choose; most of my furniture I made custom to fit the space.
What Friends Say: So many chairs! They're right — I've never had as many people in the space at one time to sit in every chair (there are 10 chairs and a bench, two are in pieces because I don't have space for them).
Biggest Embarrassment: As a renter, there are certain things I'd love to change if I could — fireplace backsplash and overhead fan would be where I'd start.
Proudest DIY: I've made a good deal of my furniture.
Biggest Indulgence: I've got a serious plant addiction.
Best Advice: More on the walls, less on the floor
Dream Sources: I've always opined over Hans Wegner's Architect's Desk. If only I could find somewhere to put it...
