Name: Trish Grantham and Rentz Leinbach, and Pablo the dog
Location: Northeast Portland, Oregon
Size: 1,400 square feet
Years lived in: Renting 9 months

From the moment you step into the foyer of Trish and Rentz's home and find yourself surrounded by dark walls adorned with hand-painted gold tropical foliage, you know you've entered a unique space. Trish is an artist and interior designer, Rentz is a musician, and their home is colorful, fun, quirky and interesting, just like them.

Prior to moving into the 1907 duplex, the landlords hired Trish to update the space. She selected paint colors, tile, light fixtures and more, and the apartment was completely overhauled. Once it was done, she knew she had to live there herself! The couple has only lived in the apartment for nine months, but the layers of antique collections, original artwork and beautiful new and vintage furniture all come together in a way that feels like the home has been set up for years.

Trish has enjoyed arranging and designing living spaces since she was a kid. She fondly remembers asking her parents for a subscription to Architectural Digest when she was twelve; she is passionate about color selection and interior design. After establishing herself as a successful artist, she founded Trish Grantham Design, and now devotes much of her time to re-imagining private and commercial interiors in Portland and beyond.
