In the past, designers and their clients had to rely on drawings to help them envision what a space would look like before it came to life. But now, increasingly sophisticated modeling and rendering programs mean that it's possible to create almost photorealistic images of rooms that don't even exist. I know I've been fooled before, when I click on a lovely space on Pinterest, only to find that it only exists in a designer's imagination. So I've created a little quiz. In each pair of images, there is one actual photo and one computer rendering. Can you tell the real spaces from the renderings?
