There are a lot of leather sofas out there. And a lot of them, unfortunately, are really, really ugly. Since finding a good-looking leather sofa in a modern style can be such a daunting task, we decided to round up a few of the best ones in one place.
That sofa looks like a vintage design by Børge Mogensen — here's a very similar one for $8,318.87 from 1st Dibs. You can find more by doing a search for the designer's work, although we'll warn you — they're definitely not cheap.
Here's another, slightly more rustic design: the Arne Norell Two-Seat Sofa Model Kontiki, $6,354.69 from 1st Dibs.
Arne Norell "Ilona" Three-Seat Sofa, $5,000 from 1st Dibs.
If you like the vintage sofas pictured above you can also search 1st Dibs for similar styles, which start at around $2,000. Of course there are also plenty of lovely leather sofas you can buy new, but I'm partial to the worn-in, vintage look.
This beauty is the ch163 sofa by Hans Wegner, starting at $5,979,75 from Hive Modern.
Leather Holloway Sofa, $3,998 from Anthropologie. This sofa is also available in lots of different colors, if colored leather is your thing.
Leather Dorada Sofa, $3,998 from Anthropologie.
Axel leather sofa, $2,499 from West Elm.
Monroe Mid-Century leather sofa, $2,499 from West Elm.
Sven leather sofa, $1,799 from bryght.
Sorensen leather sofa, starting at $1,780 from Restoration Hardware.
Echo leather sofa, $1,699 from bryght.
Contemporary leather sofa in black, $1,099 from Dot & Bo.
