The view of Alcatraz outside the window of this San Francisco condo was the only stunning feature of this outdated residence. The teeny tiny kitchen with ruptured parquet flooring and old oak cabinets needed a major face-lift.

The upper cabinets were removed on one side to create more light. New taller cabinets were installed which gained the storage that was lost. A modern quartz countertop offset by a backsplash of white 2×8 porcelain tiles created a simple and streamlined look. New appliances and a counter depth refrigerator make the space look fresh.
