Audree was always pretty. She definitely has good bones, but over time Audree's looks had, well, faded a bit. It happens. Life on the road takes a toll on a girl. But then in walked Tiffany, Audree's new owner. She knew that with a fresh coat of pink and a hip new look, Audree could still turn heads. And she was right. What a bombshell Audree's become!

Tiffany was given the 52-year old trailer, "Audree" as a gift from her husband, and she soon became "obsessed" with fixing her up. Rather than completely gutting Audree's interior, Tiffany strove to keep much of the vintage interior intact, such as an enamel icebox, 1950′s grey speckled flooring and aqua counter tops. She then designed the interior in keeping with the vintage feel of the trailer, and the result is a cheerful space that looks incredibly welcoming.

Tiffany mixed vintage flea market and yard sale finds with bargains from IKEA and Marshall's. The very cool pink guitar was found for $1 at a church garage sale!

The eating area features a banquette covered in white, faux-ostrich vinyl and handmade curtains.

this is literally the cutest thing i have ever seen
Wow, I am in love with Audree!!!! This is beyond fantastic. And I am so happy that people like you who would create something fantastic like this inhabit the planet!
Cutest reno I've seen in ages. :)
Made my heart skip a beat! That is so adorable!!!
Ha! I was going to say EXACTLY what AMYMARTHA said :)
I didn't think it was possible to make any trailer except an Airstream cute. You proved me wrong. That thing is enviable.
Wow! Its not exactly what I would do, but its done very well and really cute. Love that she worked with what was there too.
That is adorable. I want.
oh my goodness. That is some serious cute.
Its too pretty for camping, but a great job nonetheless
Can I come live there??? WONDERFUL!!!
I love a renovated trailer. Decor is a little too Seventeen magazine for my taste but great job!
Ha, Sunsets...she probably had her two little girls in mind (see pic on blog) with all the pink cuteness.
This reno is as sweet at candy. What little OR big girl could resist?!
This makes me so happy, excellent job!
Even if it's not road-worthy, this would make an AMAZING guest room!
I want one.
so great.... :)
So girly and fun, I love it! I especially love that you kept the vintage character.
No words, just squeels over how cute this is. Love every inch of it!!
And The Fancy Farmgirl? Hello soul sister!
This is adorable! I love it!
love your curtains!
Hello Apartment Therapy readers! So excited to have my trailer redo featured today. Thank you for the lovely feedback, and just a little FYI from some of the comments, this trailer is completely road worthy and goes out on MANY a GLAMPING trip! :) I even pull the trailer with a coordinating year (1959) ford truck in mint. It's truely a site to see. The only thing I do before heading out on the road is take a few items and store them in the cupboards. You can see some of our adventures here http://www.thefancyfarmgirl.com/maiden-voyage/ and here

thanks again for featuring me today, and I would be happy to answer any questions about the renovation! :)

I absolutely love this! Making my teeth hurt it's so sweet! Love the curtains and the little light fixture over the table.
Wow, that is so cute!! I love it!
Absolutely amazing! I love it! I would love to do a project like this.
I showed this to my 9-year-old daughter and she literally screamed with delight and glee! Absolutely adorable! She also asked, "Can WE go glamping???"
Oh I love it!
The blog is super as well, so West Coast, miss that here...
Take that adorable puppy on the road, immediately! :)
I'm completely with the commenter who said that trailers couldn't be cute if they weren't AirStreams.
Seriously. Awesome.
Sorry I missed your comments that Audree was already an experienced Glamp-azon!
And yes, I meant I was completely WRONG about Airstreams. I want this and I would park it on my front lawn to own one.
Squeal!
Ha ha, WONKYONE15, you made me laugh!!!
The sweetest thing ever :)
It's so cute, I would like to pinch its little cheeks.
What a beautiful makeover job! That is officially the cutest trailer to ever exist.
c00t!
If my husband gave me one of these as a birthday gift, I would marry him all over again. I.LOVE.THIS!
I would like to know how you dealt with the possible formaldehyde which was a concern in the woodwork and cabinetry of older trailers. Did covering with it paint seal it?

This would brighten any girl's day! Love it!
A friend of mine's husband has one just like the the "old" in the pic, and when they were getting ready to go on their trip, I remember thinking, "that looks like hell."
But this looks like fun place to trip and rest! Fabulous job!
"Cute" is the operative word, here! In spades!
Not a fan of pink, but the copious amounts of white and aqua kind of counter balance it so even I like the results! *That's saying something!)
Audree was looking very sad in the before shoty. I'm glad Audree's owner had a vision for Audree. The after is fab! Audree looks great !
typo-- sorry " shoty " should be shot / as in photo.
Love, love the new look. Makes me think I could survive a night camping :)
I am so in love with this trailer, I can't stand it! I've been mooning over this little vintage treasures for awhile, and this is, by far, my favorite. Great job!!!!
The only downside I can see is that if Tiffany's husband steps on board his testicles will immediately fall off.
@blandwagon... HA!
Adorable!
Who'd'uv thot to do such a make-over! It's fun to witness results of thinking outside the box. Thanks to Apt Therapy for bringing a rolling house makeover to us.
I don't usually squeal, but this was definitely squeal worthy. I was expecting a few polka dots on the interior after seeing those wonderful pink exterior strips. But you did find other good accessories/prints. I'll bet Tiffany's husband loves her girliness :-).
pretty sure I would crash my car if I saw this on the road....would be craning my neck to catch every last glimpse of Audree before she disappeared.
cute and well done!
LOVE IT! My 17 yr. old son has been looking very hard for one of these to do over on a summer job paycheck. Unfortunately his tastes lean more toward camo and hunting and sports, so I'm sure that even if I'm making the bedding and curtains it will look NOTHING like this!!!
Tiffany, Love this fun space! Can you tell me where you got the sliding door wall cabinet above the kitchen table? I don't know why it's so hard to find sliding door wall cabinets. They save so much space in a small area.
I love Audree !
Love a good makeover but caravan makeovers are even better. Well done Tiffany.
Swoon! When u sell I wanna buy it
wah!! sooo incredibly cute :)
@wordgrl
The sliding doors I replaced with just cut to fit primed breadboard sheets you can find at home improvement stores. The thickness was perfect and they have held up great. I just put on a coat of high gloss white and a new pull and voila!
Unfortunately any of these we find in our area have usually been out on the deer lease and are complete gut jobs, which is beyond my ability! I know a young couple that got one and completely remodeled in a black white and red vintage look. I am still on the look out for mine! This one is beautiful!
I really like the way you redid your "campera'. ai want one soooo bad, but can't afford the work to redo one right now.
Restoring a trailer is such a fun project! Here's a blog post about restoring all different types and reupholstering the interior!
