Emily of Namely Original is a crafty college student who's never short on clever DIY's and always excited to share them. This time she's taken some boxes headed for the landfill and turned them into organizational bins cute enough to put on display.
This is certainly one of those crafts that begs the question "Why didn't I think of this?" Not only are these bins essentially free, but they use materials that are easy to come by and can be personalized to match any decor perfectly. Some old boxes, a bit of hot glue, and fabric snagged at a garage sale is all Emily needed to create these chic bins.
If you have a pile of old boxes headed for the curb and are hoping to get organized without spending a pretty penny, head over to Namely Original to get inspired. Emily has even set up a picture tutorial that is easy to follow and well worth a peek.
Thanks, Emily!

White Enamel Four-P...
Very nice!
Wow! This is what I call turning trash into treasure!
CUTE :)
LOVE!
Its a snow day where i live right now, totally spending my now free day doing this! ive been looking for storage boxes for my closets and this is perfect.
Great project! I've had good luck spray painting cardboard boxes; I access them daily and they've held up very well.
This is fantastic!!!! I love it and cannot wait to try this.
I use banker boxes in the kitchen as pull out bins for canned goods and for stuff like foil, wraps, and baggies. They are just wide enough to slide in and out of cabinets and with built in handles, they are perfect! I haven't covered them in anything but that is something I might do. Someday. Maybe. . . or not.
Doing this!
Love it~
I kinda did this but with contact paper: http://www.flickr.com/photos/92961878@N06/8456725518/in/photostream/
I've done this too...with leftover wallpaper.
Love this (and love the wallpaper suggestion)! You're right WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT??
These look great!
