Wicker often seems relegated to boxy outdoor furniture or whimsical bohemian pieces. As these lovely rooms show, however, there are plenty of wicker pieces out there for people who just want elegant, textured pieces. 

I'm warning you — if you've never clicked over to CuffHome to check out the shop's offerings, your Pinterest board is about to get a workout.  A fluffy ottoman with tiny gold feet peeking out, a 70s-inspired channel chair, a chain-wrapped ball lamp, a sleek blue velvet sofa, a rope-wrapped chandelier... although these glamorous yet organic, sensuous yet industrial pieces are rooted in a vintage aesthetic, they're completely modern. 

Interior designer Jessica Spencer recognizes that there are two kinds of home decorators — those who need a little design hand holding and those who have their own definite vision. I've always loved seeing people's collections, from ceramics to typewriters. Lately, I keep coming across stylish teapot arrangements. Even if teapots aren't your thing, these displays may give you ideas for showing off your own beloved collection.  

As a designer, I've always got my eyes peeled for those little details that make a room stand out from the crowd. One such idea I'm loving lately? Wallpapered ceilings. This design trick is nothing new (we've talked about it here and here), but it's uncommon enough that it still feels fresh and innovative, not to mention whimsical. 

Though his clients may be high-profile (the entire Kardashian clan, Ryan Seascrest, Michael C. Hall, America Ferrera), Jeff Andrews is, like the interiors he designs, very low-key. Perhaps it's a by-product of his former life —  as a choregrapher — but his knack for taking dramatic ideas and distilling them into their most livable components, rich with texture and layers of color, is his most recognizable signature.
