Summer bedding can go across the board. Sheet only. Blanket only. Sheet and blanket. Summer weight comforter - maybe? For us, it’s the latter but we still are trying to figure which down-comforter is the most comfortable for us!?!

Although there are so many comforter styles to choose from – down, wool, synthetic, organic, cotton, hypoallergenic – we are searching for a down comforter that works for two. Our preference…a light-weight warmth level for a warmer climate and with a luxurious +400 thread count. I spotted a few ideas but we are still not sure which way to go. What do you think?

1 - Dual-warmth comforter via Cuddledown: Loving this mix and match version. Warmer for me and cooler for him.

2 - Tropical Star Light Weight Down Comforter via Westin @ Home: One of the most comfortable hotel beds has their bedding line available for us at home.

3 - The Seasons Collection™ Luxury Light Warmth White Goose Down Comforter, 600 Thread Count via Bed Bath and Beyond: The name for this summer comforter has me intrigued and it’s reasonably priced.

4 - St. Tropez® Solid Lightweight Down Comforter via The Company Store: The design in this one is described as “keeping the lightweight fill from shifting, allowing just the right amount of body heat to escape”.

5 - Batiste™ Light Weight White Goose Down Comforter via Plumeria Bay: The ultra light sounds very appealing!

6 - Ikea 365+ Misa warmth +1 - +3: Definitely an affordable option and extends through all seasons of the year.
