How would you define your style? Coastal Vintage

What is your Inspiration for your home? Holiday Beach Shacks

What is your favorite element of your home? A Frame Design & lots of Glass/Natural Light

What is the biggest challenge of your home? Our home is over 20 yrs old, so working with the existing architecture has been a little challenging. Also being right on the water we have to deal with the elements quite a bit.

What do friends say about your home?We feel like we are home as soon as we walk in. Casual and warm. Like a home should be.

What is the biggest embarrassment in your home? The bathroom. The 80’s black and fluro vinyl is truly awful. My ensuite is so tiny too, you cant swing a cat in there! We plan to renovate it next year.

What was is your proudest DIY? Our kitchen, it was a horrid green and blue laminate, now its all polished timber bench tops and white cupboards.

What was the biggest indulgence with respect to your home? Our white internal venetians

What is the best advice you've given or received? Only have what you love inside your home

What is your dream source for stuff? Black & Spiro in New Farm, Brisbane

She ways the kitchen is her "proudest DIY", yet I don't see any kitchen pics...
Anyway, there are many things to like about this place. One thing I'd do differently: lighten up those floors. I think the contrast between the dark floors and the light walls/furnishings is distracting.

i think the idea of framing vintage bathing suits is brilliant.
It instantly conveys the vibe she was going for.
