If you're looking for an eco-friendly, all-natural and/or recyclable mattress, then Keetsa is your answer. Keetsa's mattresses are made with non-toxic materials like wool, latex foam, unbleached cotton, bamboo blend and organic cotton fabrics. Their mattresses are compressed, covered in biodegradable plastic, and packed into 100% recyclable boxes printed with water soluble ink.Keetsa sells everything you need for a healthy sleep. Their mattresses ($440-$2,200) are made with a 100% natural wool padding for a fire barrier and filled with either Bio-Foam or Natural Latex. An alternative to the petroleum-produced memory foam, Bio-Foam replaces 20% of the petroleum oil with castor bean oil, a natural plant oil. This foam has no detected harmful off-gasing and no detected formaldehyde. Keetsa also mixes Green Tea Extract into its Bio-Foam formula to help give the mattress a fresh, natural scent without the use of chemical deodorizers. Latex core mattresses are naturally anti-bacterial, mildew and mold resistant, and Keetsa's latex is LGA certified, QUL certified and ECO certified.
Keetsa also sells pillows ($74-$104), mattress and pillow rotectors ($20-$167), steel frame foundations ($189-$284), mattress toppers ($158-$450), bamboo sheet sets ($95-$160), and Blu Dot bed frames ($1,199-$2,249).
Keetsa currently has six showroom locations around the country, the newest of which is Keetsa's first East Coast location in Manhattan. (The other locations are all in California—San Francisco, Fairfield, Berkeley, San Jose— with one location in Toronto.)
