Best Carry-all Bags: For Flea &amp; Farmer's Markets

Outdoor shopping season has started, and if you're planning a trip to the flea or farmer's market, you might also be on the lookout for a new bag. Here are 10 that are deep enough to carry a good haul home and good-looking enough to double as an everyday tote bag.

Studiopatro: Owned and operated by San Francisco designer Christina Weber, Studiopatro makes utilitarian linen market bags. Printed by hand with the words 'Gather,' 'Carry,' and 'Goods,' they sell in sets through her webshop or Etsy store, 2 for $84.
Mariner's Supply Company: UK-based Mariner's Supply Company sells carry-all Ditty Bags starting at £18.50: "Traditionally used by sailors onboard ship the Ditty Bag has outside pockets, a hand-spliced rope handle and sturdy brass eyelets."
Envirosax: These bags come in patterned sets of 5, or you can buy them individually for around $9 a pop. Their selling point is the variety of patterns available, and the fact that they're compact enough to fold up into a little zippered pouch.
Flip and Tumble: Their 24/7 Shopping Bags fold up into a little zippered ball. They come in multiple colors and prints and range from $7 to $9 per bag, depending on how many you buy. Available online or in select retail stores.
Public: This San Francisco-based bike stores sells a variety of bags designed to fit onto a bike. The Detours Mogo Single Pannier ($50) is a wicker shoulder tote, about the size of an average grocery bag, designed to hook onto a wheel rack.
Maison de Kristine: This online shop (based in Washington) sells French Market Baskets made from woven palm fibers with leather handles. They're sturdy and deep, and they range in size as well as price, starting at $40 and topping out around $70.

Freitag: Markus and Daniel Freitag are two Swiss brothers who started out as graphic designers and founded a bag-making business. Their heavy-duty messenger bags are handmade from recycled tarpaulins and start around $150.
