At ICFF, everyone's been talking about Luke Irwin's beautiful bespoke rugs and the intensely colored carpets from Belgium-based Limited Edition. All together, there were lots of gorgeous floor coverings from new and old designers — here are 10 we enjoyed.

• Luke Irwin: Londoner Luke Irwin makes bespoke hand-knotted rugs that can be customized by size, color, and weave. His booth features the Ikat collection, a stunning installation of warm reds, oranges, and browns in oversized patterns.
• Inigo Elizalde Rugs: Based in New York, this rug and textile design studio showcased a variety of pixelated patterns and prints that recall images from fashion and the art world. Their specialties are Nepalese hand knotted rugs and dhurries.
• Nomadic Trading Company: This North Carolina company is headquartered in Durham, and they sell reclaimed rugs — pieces sewn together from overdyed Oriental rugs in beautiful patchwork patterns. They also carry traditional carpets and kilims.
• Nanimarquina: This Spanish company sells the Bouroullecs' Losanges collection (shown above and at left). Based out of Barcelona, they work with Tord Boontje, Ron Arad, Diego Fortunato, and other top-tier international designers.
• Chilewich: Sandy Chilewich continues to push the limits of what you can do with woven vinyl. Her durable modern floor coverings include the Kono Rug (shown), made from a simple vinyl basketweave. Other lines on view at the show include a new faux bois collection.
• Christina Ruhaak: Christina Ruhaak studied at the Design Skole in Copenhagen and holds an MFA from RISD. She lives and works in Chicago, where she creates handcrafted rugs from wool and silk. Simple patterns allows the super-saturated colors to come to the forefront.
• Alpha Custom Rugs: Alpha Rugs keeps their headquarters in New Jersey and their manufacturing facilities in Peru. They're a custom company that works with interior designers and architects to create hand tufted or hand-woven carpets in 8-10 weeks.
• Bennett Bean Studio: Working out of Blairstown, New Jersey, designer/artsists Bennett Bean and Elizabeth Rand make custom wool and silk rugs. Although inspired by traditional Tibetan carpet-making, their designs are abstract and contemporary.
• Limited Edition: Belgium-based Limited Edition makes reclaimed rugs from vintage pieces that are cut, overdyed, and sewn into new patterns, creating a super-saturated patchwork look. They won the award for "Best Carpet and Flooring" at this year's exhibition.
• Liza Phillips Design: Working out of Narrowsburg, New York, Liza Phillips designs geometric rugs made in Tibet from Himalayan wool. A trained painter, her designs involve sophisticated color combinations in simple stripes and block patterns.
