With Phase One launched in June 2012, CRAFTED aims to be the country's largest, year-round, indoor craft marketplace — like Etsy in the flesh. The market is housed inside a renovated World War II-era warehouse on the San Pedro waterfront in the Port of Los Angeles.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, CRAFTED hosts almost 100 vendors in the handmade industry, from artisanal food makers to one-off jewelry designers. Whether you're looking for a bespoke feathered felt hat worthy of a royal wedding, or a succulent artist to create a vertical garden for your wall, you'll find it all at CRAFTED.
Each vendor leases a market stall on a long-term basis, so you can count on finding your favorite crafter or designer on any given weekend. Besides the aisles of handmade goods, the market also features arts and crafts stations for your little ones, food trucks, live music, and other special events.
Over the next year, CRAFTED plans to roll out 4 more phases of 100 artists each, and eventually fill up its 2 wooden warehouses totaling 135,000 square feet.
