I love coming across new stores that specialize in furniture for small spaces. That Creative Classics also stocks furniture that's made in the USA is an added bonus. From sleeper sofas to storage beds, Creative Classics stocks a wide assortment of smaller scale furniture in both traditional and more modern styles.
Owners Scott and Rachel source furniture and accessories made in the United States "because it is better made and offers a wide variety of custom choices. Our solid wood bedroom, dining room, office and occasional furniture is handcrafted from solid North American Hardwoods and features traditional furniture building techniques such as dovetail drawer boxes and mortise and tenon joinery. All of our upholstered fabric and leather furniture feature hardwood frames, high density foams and lifetime warranties."
All furniture at Creative Classics is custom made — this may lead to bit longer lead time but it will also give the customer more flexibility in design.

Nomade Express Slee...
Is it just me, or is it super annoying when stores don't publish their prices on the website? I'm not about to trek all the way to Alexandria just to find out everything there is out of my price range (and $$ is hardly descriptive enough for me to know). It comes across like, "If you have to ask, you can't afford it."
Scannerjockey, I find it annoying, too. But I think it's because -- first -- the pieces come with options of different wood and finishes that affect the price, and -- second -- want you to be paired with a specific salesperson, who earns commission. Stickley is that way.
No, it's not just you, Scanner Jockey. It is just ridiculous and sooo annoying when prices aren't published. And it isn't even like this place has prices in the stratosphere; it looks to be about the same as Room and Board (although I consider them pretty expensive, but at least they publish their prices!) Totally annoying. One of my all-time pet peeves, as I guess you can tell. Even if I like a web site's stuff, I will pass them by if there are no prices.
That's my rant for the day. :-)
...and that storage bed is wonderful.
How about providing a range of prices so I can determine if I want to spend time browsing? I too pass up websites that don't offer any indication of pricing. Nice looking pieces though.
7 items pictured, links for 6!
I also find it annoying that prices aren't published. But if you google "Berkeley Storage Bed," you'll find at least one retailer with the price posted. Queen size is about $3,100 on the site I found.
Yup, that is pretty annoying. I'm loving the Natasha Comfort sleeper, but no prices. I googled it, and found someone else that was selling the full size one starting a 2599...YIKES! To rich for my blood.
um it took me 1 minute to find this on their site: http://www.creativeclassics.com/pricing.html
a few blocks from my work, I don't need anything but I need to check it out
As a previous commenter posted, they have a general pricing list on their website. Look around.
Positive - We got two living room chairs from there that fit perfectly in our tiny tiny living room space. People are amazed at how well everything looks and functions. The prices were consistent (if slightly cheaper) then Crate and Barrel. Ordering process was easy and smooth.
Two negatives - 1) they have more to look at on website then in their store, which, while large, can't accommodate everything they sell since they order from a number of manufacturers. I prefer to be able to touch/see what I buy.
2) We weren't immediately helped when we went in the store. Nor even acknowledged. They were helping other customers but we waited around a while waiting for someone to say they'd be with us in a moment. That never happened. Maybe we didn't look like we were going to be buying (we were)...maybe we were the couple that brings their 2 yr old furniture shopping...either way we gave up that day exasperated. Weeks later we were walking by and went in again and were helped.
Hello and thanks to everyone that checked out our website! We do provide general price ranges on our website to help you determine if our products are in your budget. Thanks to your feedback, I will be sure there is a link on our home page that is more visible. You can view price ranges at: http://www.creativeclassics.com/pricing.html. You may also call or email us for prices on specific pieces: info@creativeclassics.com.
There are several reasons we do not list individual prices online which I explain on our site. One reason is the many custom choices available that affect price. Another is that many of our manufacturers have "minimum advertised price" policies and we always sell below that unless restricted by the manufacturer.
Hope this information makes you less annoyed! :)
that little endtable that opens up looks like something I could use in the office!
No prices listed? Exit right.
how cool! this is my hometown!
