Recently we posted about House Ocho
by Feldman Architecture, but today we wanted to share with you another one of their projects. It is an 1860s Old Bernal House that was completely renovated and expanded. Check out more photos after the jump...The cottage has amazing light. As part of the renovation they cut away a portion of the roof and upper floor in the center of the house. It creates a light shaft that completely changed the mood in the house. The structure has an open layout and beautiful stone wall that is shared between the staircase and the modern kitchen. We love the details and wood finishes.
