Located in an old Victorian shop front along Islington's Upper Street, the aesthetic of Folklore stands out for its simple, modern, and natural interior. With their new website they are able to ship across Europe and to the U.S., so their delightful style isn't just reserved for Londoners anymore. A few of their standout products include pulp pendants made from recycled newspaper papier mache, and a range of simple stoneware handmade in Tunisia.

Store History
- Founded by: Danielle & Rob Reid
- Headquarters: London
Folklore is an independent London and online store set up by Danielle Reid and her husband Rob. We started the company with a simple idea that better living is possible through design. Folklore curates mindful design for home and life. We source a selection of goods that are created with care and made to last. Our range includes homewares, furniture, lighting, art and lifestyle goods. We work with brilliant designers and makers. We look for craftsmanship, quality, simplicity and durability in all of our products. Some are handmade, antique or made from recycled or found materials. Others are easily recyclable at the end of their life. All are made in an environmentally mindful way.

They're good people too. Well worth the visit.
