It's clear that Zak and Gillette have a deep appreciation for heritage and past lives – a wonderful (and probably essential) quality in vintage resellers. In addition to the nod to Gillette's grandparents in the naming of their store, the couple have named their sons – Paul Townes and Gilbert Ford – after their grandfathers. As a perfect complement to Gillette's antique heritage, Zak grew up around the construction industry. Combined the couple have an eye for quality designs and good craftsmanship.
Zak and Gillette source their vintage goods from all over the US. Their inventory is in constant rotation – the store shifts and changes each week as they add new items picked up from auctions, estate sales and flea markets.
