Shelterblack is the result of a design partnership between skateboard and industry designers Valerie Kileen and Jonathan Boyd. They sell more than just garden tools; you can also find planting boxes to create your own small succulent wall, pretty planting containers, terrariums, and indoor-outdoor lighting, all in their signature colorful style. Everything is very reasonably priced and has an urban, industrial edge that is interesting and different from your average garden products. Plus, I find it inspiring to think about what other objects (like plastic dinosaurs) can be turned into interesting planters.
