Forget all the allen wrenches, ridiculous illustrations, and flimsy particleboard. Soapbox is like the hipper cousin to all that frustrating flat-pack furniture: ready to assemble without tools, constructed from plywood with hardwood veneers, and proudly made in the USA.
The versatile line of tables and shelves comes in a wide range of woods (maple, cherry, and walnut), hardware finishes (galvanized, white, green, orange, and blue), and leg heights (or a wall mount option).
To assemble the pieces, simply join the wood panels together with Soapbox's specially designed steel brackets and voilà — insta-furniture! And not only can they be put together easily, they can also be taken apart easily, making moving a snap.
Made by a startup company in New Jersey, Soapbox is currently available online and at flea markets and street fairs on the east coast. Check their Facebook page for upcoming events and news.
