Envelop was born out of a profound love for textiles, and a profound love for graphics.
Moreover, we think that far too many illustrations, and expressions of visual communication in general, die on the disk or on the desk. Envelop aims and claims to offer a nice tool that enables talents from all over the world to literally spread their creative output, well, all over the world. By creating high quality textile interior objects and fashion accessories featuring high quality work, Envelop tries to send artistic ideas into the private and public life.
Remember how great it was when you discovered Threadless? Thousands of amazing designers submitting work so that you could have a unique t-shirt you'd never find in your local Urban Outfittersl or Target? Now Envelop is here to give you that same sort of choice and quality of design with your home textiles.
Envelop is an online print-on-demand platform where illustrators can create, promote and sell high quality cotton items to textile lovers worldwide.
Envelop features aprons, napkins, oven mitts, pillow covers, place mats, table runners and tote bags that are available in exclusive prints designed by contributing designers. Designers are accepted once they upload a portfolio that is approved after it is reviewed by Envelop both technically and content-wise.
Envelop also believes in sustainability, reducing the costs of inventory management and maintaining a high level of customer choice. So rather than printing stock that has to be sold, every single order is cotton printed and assembled in Belgium by means of an eco defendable production process. Moreover, it contains a unique label featuring the designer's as well as the receiver's info.
While based in Europe, the only cost for shopping worldwide is a small one-off general administrative and handling cost of $1.27 per order. Most items on the website start at around $25.
